Natan Cardeal

I'm Natan Cardeal. I've been at Jones since November 2021, today as Data Specialist. Jones is a B2B insurtech based in New York that runs COI compliance for commercial real estate in the United States. I joined as Compliance Auditor, moved to Quality Control in Mar 2023, and stepped into the current role in Jul 2023. Before Jones, I spent four years in insurance brokerage and operations at Slomp and E360, both in Balneário Camboriú, between 2017 and 2021.

Full-time remote from Curitiba since 2021, my work centers on validation, observability, and pipeline provenance. Day to day I run Python and Pandas for data validation, SQL for aggregations since 2021, and FastAPI for internal services. Playwright handles E2E validation, and TypeScript comes in when I touch web or dashboards. Alongside that, I use Rust for targeted pipeline optimizations and Next.js for side-projects, including this site, written in 2026.

On Quality & Performance Analytics, I deliver Power BI dashboards for leadership, automated Python routines that detect error patterns, and programmatic quality reviews on client deliveries, in partnership with support, engineering, and operations. Alongside Jones, I'm pursuing a Bachelor's in Big Data and Analytical Intelligence at PUCPR (2024 → 2027), and I keep a public notebook on the Brazilian insurance market as a hobby, drawn from primary SUSEP data.
